St. Cloud Toll Booth Accident Leads to Injuries in One

Today, a man was injured in a St. Cloud toll booth accident that happened when a Cadillac slammed into the plaza. The video went viral of the man, who was identified as a 25-year-old, who went flying from the vehicle and landed on the ground of the toll lane next to another vehicle.

The man was one of the passengers in the vehicle. There were four others who were injured inside the vehicle. However, the driver and the three other passengers were able to exit the vehicle before its engine burst into flames.

The driver was identified as a 23-year-old who wasn’t able to slow down in time because he was driving too quickly as he approached the toll booth. Police also suspect that drowsy driving could have been at play early in the morning.

The driver was cited for careless driving for the accident that occurred right around 7 a.m. The man who was thrown from the vehicle survived the accident. The accident is still being investigated at this time.
