A reportable accident occurs approximately every 92 seconds in Florida. Rear-end collisions are among the most common types of car accidents experienced by drivers and passengers in our state.
Many people consider rear-end collisions to be minor in nature. The fact is, however, that rear-end collisions can and do lead to serious and debilitating injuries which require extensive medical treatment and even death in the most serious cases. The driver causing a rear-end crash is almost always legally responsible for the injuries suffered by other drivers. Rear-end crashes are usually caused by some form of driver inattention.
