Florida experiences approximately 100,000 incidents each year involving hit-and-run drivers. Unfortunately, many of these crashes will result in death or serious injuries to innocent victims. Negligent drivers who cause a car accident may choose to flee the scene in order to avoid taking legal responsibility for the damage that they have caused. Sadly, this will leave victims in a very vulnerable position as medical attention is delayed.
