St. Petersburg, FL - Two Children Struck by Car on 18th Avenue South

St. Petersburg, FL (December 1, 2018) - Two children suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle on 18th Avenue South in St. Petersburg.   The crash happened on Friday, November 30th.  

The St. Petersburg Police Department responded to the accident scene.  Two children were struck by the vehicle but their names and ages have not been released.  There is no word on how the accident happened.  The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police. 

18th Avenue South was closed following the crash.  There is no word on the condition of the two children.

  • Coconut Creek, FL - Three Dead When Car Crashes Into Retention Pond

    Three people were killed when a car crashed into a retention pond on the Sawgrass Expressway. The crash took place around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd. The Broward Sheriff's Office and Broward Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Upon their arrival, rescue workers found a silver Honda submerged in the water. Workers attempted to rescue the occupants but were unsuccessful. The driver of the vehicles, 47-year-old Boby Matthew and his passenger, 41-year-old Dolly Matthew, were pronounced dead at the scene. An unidentified teenage boy inside the vehicle was also pronounced dead. Read more
