Tamarac, FL (March 3, 2019) - A motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a minivan along West McNab Road, around 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1st.
The motorcyclist, 24-year-old David Grandison, was involved in a crash with a Honda Odyssey. Police did not release exact details on how the crash took place. The driver of the Odyssey, who was not immediately identified, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities following the crash.
Police are still investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call the Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
Motorcycle deaths account for about 14% of all traffic-related fatalities in Florida. This is a shocking number considering that only about 3% of all registered motor vehicles are motorcycles. The risk of being involved in a serious or fatal motorcycle crash is unfortunately quite high. We wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family of David Grandison following this tragic Tamarac motorcycle crash.
