Tampa, FL (April 30, 2019) - A fatal crash took place on Tuesday, April 30th. The accident happened on US-301 South, near Lightfoot Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved a single vehicle and a semi-truck. Details on how the crash took place are not clear at this time. The car was mangle at the scene, while the semi-truck appeared to have minor damage. Officials have not released the name of the deceased victim or said whether anyone else suffered injuries.
All lanes of the roadway were blocked while an investigation took place at the scene. No further details have been released.
