Tampa, FL (January 7, 2020) - Several injuries were reported in a multi-car crash on I-75 in Tampa. The crash happened on Tuesday, January 7th around 11:00 a.m.
According to reports, 38-year-old James R. Mitchell was driving a Ford Escape southbound on I-75. Mitchell lost control of his car, which overturned several times before ending up in the northbound lanes. While in the northbound lanes, the Escape crashed into a Chevy Traverse and three other cars. Mitchell suffered serious injuries and four other crash victims sustained more minor injuries. There is no word on what caused the crash to occur at this time.
The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating.

One person was killed and four others sustained injuries in a serious crash along State Road 40 near Deland. The crash was reported around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 19th. According to a repots from the Florida Highway Patrol, a man was traveling eastbound in a pickup truck on SR 40 when an SUV crossed over into his lane. The SUV and pickup collided head-on and the pickup truck driver suffered critical injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV driver and a 17-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries. Two passengers in the pickup truck also suffered serious injuries. The pickup truck driver has been identified only as a 75-year-old man from Daytona Beach. Read more
