Tampa, FL (July 8, 2018) – A Florida man from Tampa crashed twice on his motorcycle in the same day. He died as a result of the second accident. The man was identified as 54-year-old Robert Dobraski.
Dobraski crashed his Harley Davidson when he hit a legally parked car around 2:50 a.m. in the morning on Saturday. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident. Dobraski was not wearing a helmet and was airlifted to a Tampa Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the second accident.
Deputies concluded that he had crashed his motorcycle earlier in the day in Clearwater, which was a few miles south of where he lost his life. Witnesses said that they saw the earlier accident, which happened when Dobraski struck the median and crashed, and then got back on his motorcycle and headed toward Safety Harbor.
Motorcycle accidents can be extremely difficult cases, which can lead to serious results. In Florida, we see more crash fatalities than anywhere else in the nation. In fact, in 2015 alone, 606 people died and over 9,000 were injured in serious crashes. Our condolences are with you if you have lost a loved one in one of these serious crashes.
