On Monday afternoon, a school bus driver was charged when he rear-ended another vehicle. 53-year-old Stephen Scott was traveling southbound in his bus when he did not slow down in time and struck another bus driven by Terrance O’Donnell.
O’Donnell was then forced forward in his bus, which caused him to rear-end another vehicle driven by 20-year-old Nikko Swift. All vehicles came to a stop in a parking lot.
Scott had 20 students on his bus, while O’Donnell was transporting 63. Two students in O’Donnell’s bus were taken to a hospital at the request of their parents.
Scott received charges.
