Motorcycles can be a very dangerous and deadly mode of transportation. There are, by far, more fatal crashes involving motorcycles than any other type of vehicle. In fact, motorcycles account for approximately 15% of all deadly crashes in our state while only making up about 3% of all registered motor vehicles. The odds are not in the favor of a motorcyclist who is struck by a vehicle. Many crashes take place every day with motorcyclists falling victim to the negligence of other motorists on the roadway.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family of Shannon Daniels during this difficult time.
