Nearly 10,000 pedestrians were hurt in crashes last year. Each pedestrian accident is different and requires close and careful examination of the circumstances surrounding the accident. Several questions about this crash remain unanswered. We do not know if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. We also do not know if other factors such as speed or distraction played a role. A full police investigation is needed to uncover the facts of this pedestrian crash.
