45-year-old Trace Harmon lost her life in a Sarasota accident last night when her vehicle went off the road and overturned. Trace Harmon was from Arcadia.
Late last night, she was driving a 2018 Lexus RX 350 on State Road 72 east of Turpentine Still Road when her vehicle went into the south shoulder. It is still not apparent what caused her to do this.
Her vehicle struck a culvert and overturned multiple times before it stopped in an open field upside-down. She was pronounced dead at the scene when EMS arrived.

Police in Port St. Lucie responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday morning. The accident was reported just before 10:30 a.m. near Prima Vista Boulevard and mile marker 145. According to Lt. Yanko Reyes of the FHP, several tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles were involved in the accident. Multiple serious injuries were reported but none were believed to be life-threatening. Motorists were diverted to Okeechobee Road while authorities worked at the scene.
