A West Palm Beach police officer was seriously injured in an accident that happened last night on Beeline Highway near Jog Road. The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. and was caused by another accident in the area.
At first, a semi-truck was hit by a passing pickup truck. They pulled over to assess the damage and well-being of the other driver. At the same time, the West Palm Beach police officer did not see the stopped semi-truck and struck it from behind.
The injured officer was taken to the hospital by trauma helicopter and remains in stable condition at this time.
Due to the investigation, many lanes of traffic were closed for three hours.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to an injury accident in Orlando on Thursday, September 2nd. Troopers were on the scene at the intersection of N. Hiawassee Road and Hiawassee Oak Drive. According to reports, the crash involved at least two vehicles. At least one person sustained injuries although the victim's condition was not immediately available. Officials did not provide any details on the vehicle or suspect that caused the crash to occur.
