Two employees from the WKMG studio jumped into action when a vehicle crashed right outside on Wednesday morning. The safety expert and morning director were outside grabbing a breath of fresh air when they heard an accident.
Both men ran toward the accident and found a silver convertible that was flipped on its side with the airbags deployed. Two men were partially ejected from the vehicle. They believe that the driver was speeding when he lost control, causing the vehicle to lose control.
One of the responders made sure that the power line nearby was not active and then the two pulled the men out of the vehicle. One victim had an exposed skull, so they used a shirt to stop the heavy bleeding. First responders showed up at the accident for treatment purposes. Both men were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Both are in stable condition, despite serious injuries.
