In Sarasota County, troopers are currently watching out for the SUV driver who hit and killed a man when he was crossing the street. The man was identified as 19-year-old Zachary O’Bry. He was from Venice.
O’Bry was crossing the street near Short Drive on Sunday when a vehicle suddenly struck him. He was airlifted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a result but died due to his injuries. Detectives say that a maroon SUV struck him and probably has damage to its front end.
