Boynton Beach, FL (July 30, 2018) – When new fads begin, you never know if lives are at risk until something goes terribly wrong. One man was attempting the ‘In My Feelings’ challenge in Boynton Beach when things went awry, and he was struck by a vehicle during the stunt.
As part of the challenge, Jaylen Norwood was dancing in the middle of the street to rapper Drake’s newest song when he suddenly slipped on an oil slick. He was then struck by another oncoming vehicle. Luckily, the 22-year-old only suffered minor injuries. He posted a video of the accident to Instagram after receiving treatment.
Norwood stated that he intended to jump on the hood of the vehicle and continue dancing, but he slipped and fell. Now, safety officials around the country are warning of how dangerous a stunt it is to take this challenge, as many people are being hurt when they fall out of moving cars while friends record them.
Norwood is expected to be okay.
