Boynton Beach, FL (December 31, 2019) - Two cars were involved in a crash near Boynton Beach on Monday, December 30th. The crash took place around 8:00 a.m. near the intersection of Military Trail and Piper Glen Boulevard.
The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the crash scene. According to reports, there were two vehicles involved in the accident. One of the vehicles came to rest in a nearby canal and was partially submerged following the accident. The driver of the submerged vehicle escaped injury while a passenger was transported to a local hospital. There is no word on the condition of the passenger. Authorities have not released any information on the cause of the collision.
The roadway was partially closed after the accident. No further information has been released.
This year in Florida, there will be approximately 250,000 injury crashes reported. Injury accidents often involve multiple vehicles and at least one negligent driver. Any motorist, passenger, or pedestrian can become a victim of a negligent driver at any time.
