A deadly accident happened today that involved three Lakewood High School students. The accident took place just outside the school.
The man who lost his life was identified as 18-year-old student Bryson Welton-Williams. Two other students were taken to nearby hospitals with serious injuries. One was so seriously injured that they are in critical condition. They have been identified as Joshua Heath and Ramcharan Lattimore.
The accident happened when the three students had just left the high school. The driver who struck them lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. One student was able to crawl out of the vehicle after the crash. The school’s graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 16, so this accident happened close to that date.
