One person was seriously injured in a crash that took place in Cantonment before midnight on Wednesday. The accident took place near County Road 97 at Sandicrest Drive.
The driver crashed into a chain link fence and was identified as a male driver. He was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. His injuries were identified as non-life-threatening. The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate.

Four people suffered injuries in a school bus crash that occurred in Lake Butler on Thursday, November 8th. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 3:10 pm on State Road 238 at Southwest Ninth Avenue. The crash happened when a Nissan Altima traveling northbound on Southwest Ninth Avenue came to a stop sign. Rather than stopping at the stop sign, the Altima proceeded through and crashed into a school bus traveling westbound on SR 238. The Altima struck the left front side of the bus. Read more
