49-year-old Carlos Bernier Rodriguez of Miami was identified in a semi-truck accident that took his life. The accident happened on Tuesday night when he traveled off the road and struck a tree. The crash happened before 11:00 p.m. on Interstate 10 in Suwannee County.
The semi-truck was traveling west on Interstate 10 when it left the roadway and entered a grassy shoulder before it hit the tree. The semi-truck caught on fire after it hit the tree.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
