Florida is home to many bodies of water. Due to our temperate climate and abundant sunshine, boating is a popular activity among many residents and visitors. The airboat industry in Florida is only lightly-regulated as lawmakers have not passed extensive safety regulations which deal with the use and operation of these watercraft. Unfortunately, this incident is not the first time that airboat riders have been injured in a crash.
