Florida experiences approximately 500 deaths related to motorcycle crashes each year. It is estimated that about 5% of all motorcycle accidents are fatal in our state. Motorcyclists are at a much higher risk of injury when compared to motorists in cars and other larger vehicles. Unfortunately, many motorcyclists are killed or seriously hurt in crashes that are not their fault.
Our condolences go out to the family of John J. Ward during this difficult time.
