The Florida Highway Patrol did a press release concerning a man who died after an accident on his homemade four-wheeler. The accident happened Monday night in East Naples when 49-year-old David Dunn was driving his four-wheeler on Auto Ranch Road when he was struck by a Ford van. The van struck the rear of Dunn’s vehicle at the time of the accident.
As a result, both vehicles drove onto the grassy shoulder to the west, where the van struck a tree on the front side. Dunn instantly died after the accident and the driver of the van fled the scene on foot. The accident is still being investigated, and those with information are urged to contact FHP.
