The Florida Highway Patrol is on the search for a driver that took the life of a bicyclist and kept driving on Okaloosa Island. The accident happened on Highway 98 when Chad Berridge was riding his bicycle on the paved shoulder.
By the time first responders arrived, Berridge was pronounced dead. The car that hit him was a green Honda CRV, discovered later on Harbor Boulevard. However, they are still searching for the driver.
