Delray Beach, FL (June 14, 2021) - Police in Delray Beach are investigating following a crash involving two cars on Saturday night. The accident took place on Congress Avenue near the intersection with 10th Street.
According to officers, a Hyundai was traveling northbound on Congress Avenue. At the same time, a Mercedes was traveling southbound on Congress and attempted to make a left turn onto 10th Street. The two cars collided in the middle of the intersection. The Mercedes struck a concrete pole following the crash. Both drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. There were no other occupants in either vehicle and there is no word on any potential charges at this time.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
