In Florida, an accused drunk driver crashed into a parked truck, which allegedly struck a teen. Now, Cape Coral Police said that they have arrested the female responsible for the serious, injury-causing accident that occurred at a family park on a normal day.
The Cape Coral police worked to find the woman responsible for causing chaos when she decided to drive drunk and crash into a teenager and a vehicle at a family park. There were several witnesses on the scene of the accident at the time, who told police that they saw Sky Grodzinski crash into a parked truck at the park.
A teenage boy was standing on the other side of the truck. He was able to speak with police and relayed to them that the truck struck him and caused him to fall to the ground. Emergency responders immediately came to the scene and treated him for arm injuries.
Grodzinski then attempted to flee the scene, but witnesses were able to stop her from doing so. The woman spoke with police and admitted that she was taking prescription pills and was drinking earlier in the day before the accident took place.
Now, Grodzinski is facing DUI and DUI property damage charges in relation to the accident.
