Florida experiences thousands of pedestrian accidents each year. When a pedestrian accident takes place, the odds of injury are quite high. Current statistics indicate that about 75% of all Florida pedestrian crashes result in hospitalization with about 25% requiring prolonged medical treatment. Pedestrians are very vulnerable as they are often struck by vehicles traveling at high speeds which can lead to devastating results.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family of Cecilia Dassie and we hope for her complete recovery.
