48-year-old Dwayne Frederick has been wondering why somebody would leave him at an accident scene. At the time of his accident, he was riding his bike along Cleveland Avenue in Tampa near an intersection. Somebody in a pickup truck pulled up and struck him, then leaving the scene.
Good Samaritans in the area at the time rendered aid until paramedics came. Now he suffers from extensive injuries including two broken legs, a crushed pelvis, lacerated kidneys, and more. Doctors aren’t sure if he’ll ever walk again.
Tampa police are still looking for the driver, who they believe was driving a newer full-size silver pickup truck, which might have been a Ford F-150.
