Our thoughts are with the family of Helen Miller in this tragic crash. Sadly, a person dies approximately every three hours in Florida car accidents.
When a fatal car accident occurs, the surviving family members are left to deal with the tragedy. In the aftermath of the fatal crash, it is important to determine whether the law provides a remedy.
In Florida, the surviving family members of a person killed in a crash may be entitled to file a wrongful death claim. Wrongful death claims arise when a person is killed due to someone else's negligence. Due to the complexity of these claims, it is recommended to consult with an experienced Florida wrongful death attorney before taking any action.
