An engaged couple from Florida was killed this past Thursday night when a wrong-way driver slammed into their vehicle. The accident happened on Interstate 75.
The engaged couple, 24-year-old LaShay Waiters and Yvette Alexandre, were killed in the accident. The wrong-way driver also lost his life. He was identified as 21-year-old Justin Lakin.
Alexandre recently announced that she was pregnant. The couple was planning to spend the night at Waiters’ mother’s house, but never made it there due to the wrong-way driver. All three were taken to the hospital but died due to severe trauma.
