Fatal pedestrian accidents are, unfortunately, quite common, in our state. Current statistics show that an average of two pedestrians are killed in motor vehicle accidents each day in Florida. Pedestrians are often seriously injured or killed at the hands of negligent drivers. Drivers who fail to yield, drive recklessly, or fail to stop at crosswalks and stop signs frequently cause serious pedestrian crashes.
Our condolences go out to the family of Ebony James following this tragic crash in Fort Pierce.
