Gadsden County, FL (July 31, 2018) – Accidents don’t only affect those who are driving but those who are inside the vehicles as well. These disheartening accidents can be dangerous and confusing, leading passengers to have many questions about their rights.
A ramped vehicle led to serious injuries in Gadsden County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The incident took place around 2:10 a.m. on Sunday when a Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on State Road 65 and failed to navigate a right-hand curve.
The vehicle drifted across the southbound lane and onto the west shoulder. The truck then continued north on the shoulder, eventually striking a culvert. When the vehicle ramped from the culvert, it crossed National Forrest Road 132 airborne. The vehicle then landed on its side and came to a stop.
The passenger inside the vehicle at the time suffered serious though non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver received charges of careless driving.
