Fatal crashes are caused for a variety of reasons. Many fatal crashes involve more than one vehicle and some form of driver negligence. Other fatal crashes involve single vehicles such as this one. In this case, it appears as though a roadway obstruction was to blame for the accident. Each year, a number of serious and fatal crashes take place due to roadway obstructions, including natural and other objects lying in the roadway. Further investigation will be needed to determine fault in this fatal crash.
