Hernando, FL (July 12, 2021) - A 49-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash that took place in Hernando on Sunday, July 11th. The accident happened along County Line Road near Ruskin Avenue.
Police say that a 74-year-old female from South Rockwood, MI was driving a sedan eastbound on County Line when she moved into the left turn lane. The sedan driver attempted to make a turn onto Ruskin when she turned into the path of a motorcycle that was traveling westbound on County Line. The motorcyclist struck the right front of the sedan. He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released.

Police in Miami responded to an accident involving a motorcyclist on Wednesday morning. The crash happened on Northwest 11th Street near the intersection with 42nd Avenue. According to the Miami Police Department, the motorcyclist was involving in a collision with a car. The driver of the car fled the scene before later returning The motorcyclist, who has not been identified at this time died in the crash. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene before eventually returning to speak with authorities. There were no other injuries reported. An investigation into the crash is ongoing at this time.
