Hillsborough County, FL (December 23, 2019) - Two people were killed and two more hurt in a crash that took place in Hillsborough County on Monday, December 23rd. The crash was reported at the intersection of Gavin Road and Mott Road near Dover.
According to deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, two victims were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Two others were transported to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on the number of vehicles involved in the accident nor did police say how the crash occurred.
No further information was released.
Deadly accidents are reported daily in Florida. In fact, a fatal crash takes place about once every three hours. Many fatal accidents occur due to the negligence of a motorist. Even a single act of negligence can result in deadly consequences for others on the roadway.
