Hit-and-run crashes are very common in Florida. In 2019, there were approximately 105,000 hit-and-run accidents reported in our state. This number accounts for approximately 25% of all total accidents. Hit-and-run collisions can involve serious injuries and death in the worst-case scenarios. Drivers who choose to flee the scene of a crash often do so knowing that they are responsible for causing a major injury collision.
Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
