Around 14% of all traffic crashes will involve motorcycles. Motorcycle riders as a group are among the most likely to suffer serious bodily injury or death in a crash. This is because a motorcycle offers far-less protection from the impact of a crash. In the event of a collision, a motorcyclist may be thrown from the bike and can suffer serious head, neck, and spinal cord injuries. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family of George Wrves during this difficult time.
