50-year-old Jorge Rouco was ripped off of his bicycle when a driver struck him. He fell to the ground and a vehicle stopped nearby so that they could help him. As a result of the accident, the sustained various injuries such as broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and more. He is hoping that somebody saw the vehicle that caused these injuries.
The accident took place on the Rickenbacker Causeway and police believe that the involved party was in a white van at the time. The Miami Police Department says that the vehicle is likely a 2001 white GMC Safari, or even a Chevrolet Astro. The vehicle struck the victim and left its right-side mirror at the scene of the accident.
Jorge Rouco was conscious throughout the entire experience and says that he’s not sure if he will ride his bicycle again.
