A 20-year Navy Veteran named Jose Castellon was in an accident in Volusia County on Interstate 4 on Sunday. At the time of the accident, rescue workers had to cut open the vehicle to flee Castellon. That’s when his dog named Luna escaped from the vehicle. Castellon was hospitalized due to the crash.
Now Castellon is undergoing surgery but all he can think about is Luna, his lost pup. Castellon’s sister-in-law says that he has been asking about her nonstop for days. Luna has a microchip so, while Castellon recovers, he is staying hopeful that he will be reunited with his pup again.
