Land O'Lakes, FL (October 26, 2019) - A motorcyclist in Land O'Lakes was killed after he was involved in a crash on State Road 54. The crash took place on Thursday, October 24th.
21-year-old Marc Alex McCorkle was riding his motorcycle near the intersection with Foggy Ridge Road Parkway. Suddenly, an SUV made a left turn into McCorkle's path. McCorkle swerved to miss the car but lost control of his bike. He was thrown from the motorcycle. McCorkle, who was wearing a helmet, suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene by rescue workers. There were no other injuries reported. There is no information regarding the other vehicle.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating at this time.

One person was killed and two others were injured following a car accident in Boynton Beach over the weekend. The crash happened on Saturday, September 25th around 3:30 p.m. Police responded to the scene on S. Military Trail just after the collision occurred. According to a report, a driver was traveling northbound in a BMW on Military Trail when, for unknown reasons, the car crossed the centerline of the roadway. The BMW crossed over the median and collided head-on with Toyota Tundra. Th Tundra driver, 52-year-old Paul Richards, and his 49-year-old passenger Melissa Richards, were seriously hurt in the crash.
