Last night, a motorcyclist was killed in Tallahassee when he collided with a vehicle attempting to make a U-turn.
The accident took place before 6:00 p.m. near Woodlane Circle. 32-year-old Louis Wolter of Bonifay was traveling south when, all of a sudden, a driver in a truck began making a U-turn in front of him. Wolter’s motorcycle collided with the side of the truck when he wasn’t able to stop in time.
He was not killed instantly but instead taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where he then passed from his injuries. 79-year-old Tommy Davis, the driver of the truck, was cited for failing to yield oncoming traffic when making his U-turn. He received no injuries.
