On Thursday night, one man lost his life in a serious Florida accident that took place in Lawrence County. 56-year-old Mark Cunningham lost his life when he rear-ended a semi-truck. The truck was stopped in the passing lane due to being involved in a prior crash.
The accident happened late last night around 10:17 p.m. five miles east of Mount Vernon. Cunningham was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver suffered no injuries.

The driver sought by police in a deadly hit-and-run last Saturday has been located. The Florida Hightway Patrol had been searching since last Saturday to find the person responsible for hitting and killing 30 year old Jessica Joy-Dees Feuerstein. Feuerstein was running on the north side of 12th Street near 58th Avenue around 4:00 on Saturday morning when she was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle then fled the scene before police could arrive.
