Pedestrians in Florida are especially vulnerable, with our state consistently at the top of national rankings for pedestrian injuries and fatalities.
When you have been involved in a pedestrian accident, it is important to seek medical treatment right away and document the accident scene if you are able. Your notes may be important in helping you recall the crash several months later. Obtaining medical treatment immediately after the crash will ensure that you receive proper care and your injuries do not linger and become more painful than they otherwise are.
