Melbourne, FL (October 28, 2019) - At least four people suffered injuries in a crash that took place in Melbourne on Monday, October 28th. Authorities responded to the scene at the intersection of Bayberry Drive and Eber Road around 12:30 p.m.
There is no word at this time on what led up to the accident. A teenager involved in this crash had his leg impaled. All of the injured victims were taken by ambulance to Holmes Regional Medical Center. The Brevard County Fire Rescue assisted with the injured victims at the accident scene. The Melbourne Police Department was also on the scene.
The intersection of Bayberry and Eber was blocked following the accident. There are no further details available.

A driver and a passenger suffered serious injuries in a crash on I-4. The crash happened on Wednesday, May 22nd, around 3:04 a.m. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol report that 33-year-old Myron Jynaro Wimbley was driving a 2018 Isuzu box truck when, for reasons unknown, he lost control of the vehicle, veered off the roadway, and crashed into a barrier wall. 19-year-old Shaderiah Ayana Thompson was a passenger in the truck at the time of the crash. Wimbley and Thompson were both ejected in the crash and both were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. There is no word on whether the injuries are life-threatening. Read more
