Miami-Dade Woman Were Hurt After Being Struck by Vehicles

Two Miami-Dade women were hurt Wednesday when they were struck by a vehicle crossing the street in northwest Miami-Dade County. At the time of the incident, pedestrians were crossing in the middle of the avenue when they were suddenly struck by a gray Toyota Camry.

One woman sustained serious head injuries, while the other suffered leg injuries. They were both taken to local hospitals.

The driver of the Camry remained at the scene after he struck the women.

  • Hillsborough County, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Crash Involving UTV

    Police are investigating following a deadly hit-and-run crash that took place in Hillsborough County. The incident occurred just after 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2nd. According to reports a man was walking westbound on Clinton Avenue near Bur Mac Road when he was struck by a vehicle that was also traveling westbound on Clinton. The vehicle, which is described as a UTV, fled the scene after the crash took place. Rescue workers arrived and attempted life-saving measures but were ultimately unsuccessful as the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries. Police are still looking for the suspect vehicle which is described as a side-by-side UTV with a width of 53 inches and a heigh of 24 to 30 inches. The vehicle may have left front-end damage.
