Middleburg, FL (March 13, 2019) - A head-on crash, which took place at the intersection of Blanding Boulevard and State Road 16, left two people seriously hurt on Wednesday, March 13th.
The Florida Highway Patrol and emergency personnel responded to the crash scene. Two crash victims, both unidentified, were taken to Orange Park Medical Center with serious injuries. There is no word on the type of vehicles involved or why the crash took place. The road remained closed until just before 11:00 a.m. while police investigated.

A pedestrian is dead following a crash in Charlotte County on Saturday, September 22nd. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash on US 41, near Oil Well Road. Upon arrival, troopers discovered that a pedestrian had been struck by a passing vehicle. The vehicle, identified as a Lincoln Continental, was traveling in the southbound lanes of the highway.
