Pedestrian accidents are common throughout Florida. Each year, around 10,000 injuries are reported in collisions between pedestrians and vehicles. A large number of these injury crashes also involve serious injuries or death to the affected pedestrian. Sadly, this crash is an example of the often serious and fatal nature of pedestrian accidents in our state.
