Each day in Florida, about two pedestrians will be killed in traffic accidents. Our condolences are with the family of Ronnie Naugle in the aftermath of this tragic Collier County pedestrian accident.
In addition to those killed, many more will be injured in crashes across our state this year. Statistics tell us that the injuries sustained are very likely to require hospitalization and, in many cases, will involve serious injury or debilitating effects. Some of the injuries commonly suffered by pedestrians include broken bones, spinal injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. These injuries will take a long time to heal and may require multiple medical procedures and interventions.
