Okaloosa County, FL (November 2, 2018) - A 22-year-old man died in a crash on US 98. The crash took place on Thursday, November 1st.
Florida Highway Patrol reports that the man was walking in the eastbound lanes of the Highway around 11:00 pm when the crash occurred. The man was standing in the right lane when he was struck by a car that attempted to make a lane change. The man suffered critical injuries and later succumbed to his injuries. Police have not identified the victim at this time.
No charges were immediately filed in connection with the crash and there is no further information available at this time.

A 35-year-old man from St. Petersburg died and another person was hurt after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, December 24th. The crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. on 48th Street North near 54th Avenue North. The St. Petersburg Police Department responded to the accident scene. According to a report, a 36-year-old woman from Seminole was driving westbound on 54th Avenue when another car turned in front of her. The two vehicles collided, causing the other vehicle to overturn. The driver of the other car, a 35-year-old man from St. Petersburg, was killed in the accident. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Neither of the two drivers have been identified at this time. Read more
