Orlando, FL (January 28, 2020) - Six people were hospitalized in a multi-vehicle crash that took place in Orlando on Sunday, January 26th. The crash happened at the intersection of Texas Avenue and Honour Road.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were called to the scene in reference to the crash. According to investigators, a car pulled out from the intersection and into the path of an approaching truck. The truck took evasive action to avoid a collision and veered into another lane where it struck a Lynx bus. The driver of the truck, which turned out to be stolen, fled the scene of the crash. A total of six people were transported to a local hospital for treatment. It is unclear whether the victims were in the car or the bus and there is no word on the nature of their injuries at this time.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No additional details have been released at this time.
According to statistics published by NHTSA, a reportable crash occurs in Florida approximately every 92 seconds. When a Florida car accident occurs, drivers are often given little time to react to avoid the crash. Many crash victims are simply innocent motorists who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
